Had a meal here a few weeks ago with friends, so I was really looking forward to my second visit this time with my wife and two friends and I wasn’t disappointed. The service is second to none, the food delicious, Indian food with a wonderful Nepalese twist ,worth the travel from Derbyshire this place is definitely a hidden gem.
This is the first time we’ve had food from here and it was delicious! Our order came to £36 for two people but we got 15% off. we ordered at 5.30 and it arrived by 6.30. All the food was well packed, steaming hot and fresh. Both currys was very tasty with plenty of tender chicken and sauce. The pilau rice was perfect and the nann bread wow cooked to perfection. One of the best Indian take aways we’ve ever had and we will be returning customers.
Very nice Gurkha with lots of flavour and spice. The waiter was nice and smiley and very friendly. Not busy but still a good atmosphere.. but dated restaurant and not what I expected from the name Palace but it didn't effect the food. Very nice and will be back next time I'm working in the area
First impressions were excellent, staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I ordered the usual poppadoms which came with plenty of mango and mint sauce, for a starter I opted for the mixed starter which was a good mix and all cooked and seasoned well. For the main I went for one of the chefs specials, it was a lamb shank with rice and naan, it was incredible, the meat just fell off of the bone and was full of flavour. The sauce had the right amount of spice and the naan was fluffy and delicious. Would give 6 stars if I could!
